I will be joined by Vince Verkay and John Paradiso from New Jersey OG Funeral Death Doom legends Evoken, on 9/7/25!!! Evoken will be dropping their 7th album on October 17th on Profound Lore, called Medacium. This is Evoken's return after a 7 year hiatus from the album cycle finally. Following their KILLER performance at MDF 2025, I knew I had to get these guys on to talk some history of the band, as well as, to dive into the new album and unlock it's sepulchral secrets !! I have been jamming this new album endelessly the last 3 weeks, and man veyr well be their most pummeling and crushing album they have ever done !!! These guys helped create the foundational structure upon which Funeral and Death Doom bands base their careers... They are cetrianly right there in miserable company along with Thergothen, Esoteric, Winter, and diSEMBOWLMENT as the OG's, so pull up your coffin for the exsanguination and lets get this party started !!
