Time lapse of a morning glory plant life cycle, growing from a seed through blooming. For this demonstration, we chose a clay container/pot, filled it with potting soil and placed it in our indoor studio. A simple trellis was added to support the growing plant. LED simulating lights was also used to ensure light sufficiency and temperature balance throughout all the stages.
A morning glory seed was sowed under soil, relative closed to the surface. It quickly sprouted within the first week and started climbing all over our trellis soon after that. We experienced some worms, and had to manually pick them off the plant. After 7 days, our morning glory plant bloomed beautiful purple flowers. Those flowers were quickly fading and changing hue to pink when wilted.

In this video we're going to learn how to propagate morning glories through a very simple technique. You can propagate morning glories in a few different ways, such as by seed or by cuttings, however I'm showing you a super simple method to grow and propagate these beautiful and bright flowers more quickly.
