What's up fight fans, MMA Mystic back to do my prediction and breakdown of UFC Fight Night Macau China's prelim opener of Nikolas Motta vs Maheshate which takes place Saturday November 23rd, 2024 at Galaxy Arena in Macau, China. It's an early one this time around but stacked with great fights.

This is a great fight to kick off the night, with two guys who are likely to stand and trade rather than look for takedowns. If anyone does, it’ll probably be Maheshate, but I expect this to be a striking war.

I’m picking Nikolas Motta to win. Maheshate is a talented, young fighter at just 24, with great counter-striking and solid combos. He showed impressive defense and counter-punching in his fight with Steve Garcia and good knees in the clinch against Rafa Garcia. However, I don’t think he has the power to hurt Motta or the durability to withstand Motta’s shots. Maheshate has been hurt in previous fights and struggled to put away opponents like Gabriel Benitez.

Motta, on the other hand, is coming off a huge win over Tom Nolan and is a more polished striker with better defense and power. He struggles against grapplers but does well in stand-up battles, which I think this fight will be. I see Motta landing the heavier shots, doing more damage, and either winning on the scorecards or securing a knockout. He’s an underdog at +175, but I believe his experience and striking edge will lead him to victory. Thanks for tuning in!
