Since learning this song in 2018, I swear it must be my most-sung tune in my repetoire. The lyrics are so simple but so straight to the point: "It's gonna take a lotta love to get us through the night... if you look in my direction and we don't see eye to eye, my heart needs protection and so do I."
Like so many I'm darn scared of so much that's going on these days and I know it can sound pretty cliche/smooshy to say "love" is the answer - but if you think about "love" as the strength to get through tough times and the infinite ways that that manifests then I DO think that is the case. What else is there really?
Anyways, point is this song works for me - it's been my favourite meditation/mantra for the past many years and I hope you get something out my relationship with it - love ya
