Ingredients

3 tbsp mustard oil
2 cups finely sliced onions
1 tbsp fresh ginger paste
2 green chillies, slit in half (add more if you want it spicy)
2 tsp garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
500 g chicken, curry cut
1 cup bamboo shoot, finely sliced or chopped
1 cup hot water
1/2 tsp garam masala
