On August 6, 2011, I made another Saturday Woodbourne visit. Decent day overall, more good catches then trains, in other words, quality over quantity.

10:03 AM -
Q300-06 comes out of Woodbourne Yard with cars from Lansdale, with CSX CW40-8 7376 ex Conrail in YN2 leading and CSX CW40-9 9010 trailing. SEPTA 3425 makes a run westbound with Silverliner IV married pair 180 and 179. Q300 then starts their shove back towards their train. Of note, 7376 has a rather nice new cast K5LA.

10:24 AM -
SEPTA 4316 heads eastbound with Silverliner II 201 and Silverliner II 258.
4316 - Philadelphia, PA - West Trenton, NJ

10:31 AM -
Q300-06 chugs eastbound by Woodbourne after their work with the 7376 and 9010. As they rounded the curve, the signal at Wood dropped to a stop from the limited clear it was before. They were then talked by the signal by SEPTA 2.

CSX K532-06, empty hopper cars for a unit bauxite train, heads westbound with CSX ES40DC 5288, CSX GP40-2 6391, and CSX SD70AC 4806 title in the video is wrong for power.

12:19 PM -
After working Woodbourne Yard, Q418-06 accelerates eastbound with CSX SD40-2 8851 leading and CSX AC44CW 24 for power of the moderate sized manifest.

1:15 PM -
Obviously this video proves I'm dyslexic/tired when editing haha, but that's what annotations are for! But anyway, here's Q190-06 headed east with CSX ES40DC 5419 and CSX ES40DC 5376 for power.

2:52 PM -
Q706-06 flies eastbound with CSX SD40-2 8826 leading, with the engineer barely blowing the horn enough for the ditchlights to activate.

4:20 PM -
Over at West Lang on the Morrisville Line, we see 17G head west with NS SD70M 2644, recently acquired NS SD60 6537, and NS C40-9 8832 for power. The 6537 was purchased from HLCX, and was an ex UP and HLCX before it's days with HLCX.

5:31 PM -
The former Q174, now known as Q034-05, heads eastbound through Woodbourne with CSX AC60CW 623, CSX AC44CW 30, and CSX AC60CW 5012 for power. Not bad for anintermodal.
Q034 - Jacksonville, FL - North Bergen, NJ Intermodal

Three days later, on August 9, there was more action, but the catches were dulled down a little bit.

10:28 AM -
Q300-09 roars eastbound by Woodbourne with CSX SD70AC 4828 leading and CSX CW40-8 7771 for power. I got a decent horn show out of him too.

11:35 AM -
Q190-09 drifts east off the Wood Connecting Track with a rare four engine lash-up. CSX ES40DC 5219, CSX ES40DC 5460, CSX ES40DC 5386, and YN3 painted CSX AC60CW 651 power the train.

2:17 PM -
A very heavy rain kicked in, as Q706-09 moves eastbound with CSX AC44CW 372 leading with an eerie sounding K5LA horn.

3:22 PM -
After bringing a brand new married pair of Silverliner V's in the east end of the yard, C964-09 runs out the east end of the yard, with CSX SD40-2 8826 making another appearance for my camera. C964-09 then runs long hood forward west back towards Philly.

4:59 PM -
SEPTA 369 heads west with five Silverliner V's, soon after, 17G comes west with NS CW40-9 9146 and NS C40-9 8749 for power.

6:49 PM -
Q034-08 heads eastbound with CSX ES40DC 5376, CSX CW40-8 7848, and CSX SD70AC 4787 for power. Unfortunately, my night was cut short, so this was my last train of the evening....
