Hello I’m Joan. About a year ago I read a book called Kill the Father by Sandrone Dazieri which I thought was one of the thrillers of the year. I’ve been waiting ever since for the sequel. Well, here it is. It’s called Kill the Angel. Thriller fiction is full of great characters but personally I think that the team of Colombo Caselli and Dante Torre are amongst the best. They are two very damaged crime-fighting individuals who know how to go about finding their man, or in this case, their woman. A train pulls in to Rome Station from Milan and all of the passengers in first class are dead. The authorities believe that it is the work of Islamist extremists so they head down that path. But our duo have a much better idea. They look towards, wait for it, a woman who has modelled herself on the Lithuanian Goddess of Death. They go after her and try to solve this case. It’s terrific.
