Building Better Worlds with the Alien Roleplaying Game

Hi and welcome to my look at the excellent Building Better Worlds source book for Alien the Roleplaying Game by Free League Publishing.

This lavish tome delves deep into the history and everyday life of those who land on barren rocks and turn them into living worlds: the colonist, and gives us our most detailed look yet at life for these brave men and women.

As always Free League Publishing are pushing the bar with artwork and layout and offering an excellent take on life in the 22nd Century, and as usual the artwork is outstanding and really in keeping with the tone of the Alien universe.

Written by Andrew E Gaska who penned The Colonial Marines Source book and Dave Semark, this book fits in perfectly with the previous entries and is packed with all new artwork, vehicles and gear, as well as two new player character archetypes The Entertainer and The Wildcatter.

As well as detailing how colonies are set up a s structured, Building Better Worlds also offers a complete campaign to run through and seven independent scenes, all complete with player handouts, maps and NPCs.
