If you have a love for Americana and nostalgia for the past this place for you!!! Step right up as we land in Cherry Valley, New York to go explore The Tepee Souvenirs. A roadside attraction since the 50's still holding strong on classic route 20. It is still keeping up with the times with crafts and gifts now being made by Native Americans and much more. And if that is not enough attached to the store is Tepee Pete's Chow Wagon. The food was great and so was the conversation with Pete himself telling us all about his food. We had the best chili east of the Rio Grande and maybe even best in the world. I know that is a strong claim but go there and see for yourself, it is true. We feel you can never go wrong with a classic roadside attraction, that is family owned and run, so we absolutely loved The Tepee.
