LGM-30 MINUTEMAN
The LGM-30 Minuteman is a US land-based intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM)
It is the only land-based ICBM in service in the United States.
The current US force consists of 450 Minuteman-III missiles
Each missile carries up to 3 nuclear warheads, which have a yield in the range of 300 to 500 kilotons. The Minuteman was the first MIRV-capable missile.
It has a range of 8,100 miles /13,000 km & speed of 24 Mach

USS Gerald R. Ford AIRCRAFT CARRIER:
The Ford class ship is a successor to the Nimitz class aircraft carriers. It is expected to be commissioned with the US Navy in 2016. It has displacement of 110,000 tons & carry 85 fixed-wing aircraft, VSTOL aircraft, helicopters, or unmanned aerial vehicles.

These will include F-35 JSF and F/A-18E/F Super Hornets multi-role fighters, EA-18G Growlers electronic warfare aircraft, E-2D Advanced Hawkeyes early warning aircraft, MH-60R and MH-60S naval helicopters.

Defensive weapons of the Ford class will include two launchers with 16 Evolved Sea Sparrow Missiles (ESSM) each. It will also have two launchers with 21 Rolling Airframe Missiles (RAM)

F 22 RAPTOR:
The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is a single-seat, twin-engine, all weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft.
It is the only operational 5th Generation fighter. United States Airforce has 195 (8 tests +187 operational).
The F 22 will be the 'tip of spear' for any offensive strike against a rival.


OHIO CLASS SSBN
The Ohio class is a class of nuclear-powered submarines used by the United States Navy. The navy has 18 Ohio-class submarines: 14 ballistic missile submarines (SSBN) and four that were later converted to guided missile submarines (SSGN).
The SSBN submarines are also known as "Trident" submarines, and provide the sea-based leg of the U.S. nuclear triad.

The 14 Trident II SSBNs together carry approximately fifty percent of the total US active inventory of strategic thermonuclear warheads.





BOEING B-52 STRATOFORTRESS

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 was designed and built by Boeing, which has continued to provide support and upgrades. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since the 1950s.

It has a range of 4,480 mi (7,210 km) & capable of carrying approximately 70,000 lb. (31,500 kg) mixed ordnance; bombs, mines, missiles, in various configurations

The range & payload combination make it a potent strategic bomber & it is expected to serve into the 2040s
