Naomi Watts Shares Her Menopause Journey // Stripes

Stripes Founder, Naomi Watts joined The Future of Women’s Healthcare panel in New York City hosted by HerMd to share her perimenopause journey that led to the inception of Stripes.

In sharing her experience with perimenopause, Watts shared, "There's nothing out there in storytelling or media other than the crazy lady that shouts and screams at everyone, and it's just not true. With some support and community, hand-holding, and caretaking, we can thrive! We are actually at the point where we know ourselves better. We're wiser for our cumulative experiences and we should be celebrating this time."

HerMD provides gynecology, menopause, sexual health, and aesthetic services, founded by sisters ​​Dr. Somi Javaid and Komel Caruso. The event included several panels featuring a group of expert medical professionals, founders, investors, and advocates in the women’s healthcare space. These roundtable discussions explored different facets of women’s healthcare, from sexual health and menopause to equity, investment, and education.
