Hands down, the best buttercream I have EVER had. Hungry Hubby hates Italian meringue and I had to make a change because he would scrape it off of a cake and I felt guilty. This recipe from Gretchens Bakery right here on YouTube is the best I have ever made. It is not super sweet and can be flavored any way you like it AND it's awesomely easy to work with. I made flowers, leaves, swirlies, and stars to decorate my cupcakes. Too bad I forgot to turn the camera on to take a picture of the cupcakes before we ate them. Give it a try. A stand mixer is your best friend in this recipe.
