Here’s what the sneak peeks menu to the DVD release to The Guardian (2006 movie) would look like if it was released in theaters on April 28, 2006 instead of September 29, 2006 and came out on DVD on August 29, 2006 (a month prior to the actual theatrical release of this movie) instead of January 23, 2007
Here are the titles that appear on this menu:
First page:
Enemy of the State: Special Edition
Twitches
Remember The Titans: Director’s Cut
Glory Road
Con Air: Unrated Extended Edition
Grey’s Anatomy: The Complete 2nd Season: Uncut
Air Buddies
Second page:
Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto
The Wild
LOST: The Complete 2nd Season
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men’s Chest
Cars
Goal! The Dream Begins
Stick It
NOTE: Fake/fanmade. As much as it makes sense having the trailer to The Wild as one of the opening previews on here, it also makes sense having the trailers to Enemy of the State: Special Edition, Remember The Titans: Director’s Cut, Glory Road and Con Air: Unrated Extended Edition as some of the extra previews on here, because Trevor Rabin composed the soundtracks to all 5 of these movies respectively, so it all makes sense here, and this would be one of the last few titles to have the trailers to all 4 of these trailers mentioned here as the appearances of the trailer to Remember The Titans: Director’s Cut would come to an end by October 31, 2006 (aka Halloween 2006), the appearances of the trailers to Enemy of the State: Special Edition and Con Air: Unrated Extended Edition would come to an end by November 28, 2006 and the appearances of the trailer to Glory Road would officially be over by December 26, 2006 (the end of 2006)
NOTE #2: This would also be one of the last few titles to have the coming soon version of the trailer to Twitches as that would be released on DVD a week later on September 5, 2006 here, this would also be one of the last few titles to have the 30 second trailer to Air Buddies that has been shown on various Disney/Buena Vista DVD releases between late 2005 and September 2006 as the final trailer to this movie would officially start to be in usage by October 3, 2006
NOTE #3: If this happened, then any home media release from May 2-September 26, 2006 that had the theatrical trailer to this movie would have it replaced with the DVD trailer to this movie, those up to August 22, 2006 would have the coming soon version of the DVD trailer to this while those between August 29-September 26, 2006 would end up having the now available version of the DVD trailer to that movie
NOTE #4: Outside of the trailers to The Wild, Enemy of the State: Special Edition, Remember The Titans: Director’s Cut, Glory Road and Con Air: Unrated Extended Edition, there is nothing else that it would make sense having on here, so we’re all good on this selection for right now
NOTE #5: This and the previous video are meant to commemorate with the fact that today marks 19 years since this movie came out on DVD and Blu Ray, so happy 19th anniversary to this movies home media release
And @firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142 and @miriancostales570, if the two of you are watching this, this video is for the two of you. And Zach, would this be getting a Blu Ray counterpart (which would make it an early Blu Ray release here)? If so, then please let me know about it right here, but if you’re unsure, then here’s my hint: There won’t be a lot to start you off, but the theatrical trailer to Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto and the Disney Blu Ray Disc promo are some we can expect on there and that’s it
