So a friend told me there was a 359 Peterbilt at the upcoming fall auction so I decided to take a break from truck building and spend an afternoon walking the yard to see what’s for sale. Found a lot of cool old trucks and some other neat items. Even found what will hopefully be my next truck – a 379 long hood flat top with a C15 Cat … to bad it went for over six figures – guess I’ll have to keep looking for old 379’s rotting in a field as that’s the only way I’ll be able to afford one. Did eventually find the 359 but it was “inoperable” but still went for a pretty penny…
