Leyland National Day, at the North West Museum of Road Transport, St Helens (16/10/2022)

Just over 10 years from the previous event (original video here:    • Leyland National 40 at the North West...  ), the North West Museum of Road Transport held a one-day event on Sunday 16th October 2022, as part of a year long commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic Leyland National single deck bus going into service.

No less than 8 Leyland Nationals were in attendance, with 7 giving rides around the St Helens area from the Museum, based at the old bus depot on Hall Street. This video features all 7 of the buses in action, and at least 1 on static display.

Featuring MTL North 6140, London Transport LS 220, J.Fishwicks 16 and 26, Merseyside Transport 6036 and 6045, Crosville SNG 588 and Widnes Corporation 1.

Filmed around the museum complex, and aboard Widnes Corporation 1 returning from Dentons Green to St Helens Town Centre.
