Dharan, a city in eastern Nepal, land of the Kirat culture. I came a while ago and felt a crush on this city. I really wanted to go back. The opportunity presents itself with the arrival of summer, a time celebrated by the Kiratis as the festival of Ubhauli. An intense cultural moment, a perfect opportunity to return to Dharan!
