In this episode of Advanced Geekery, I walk you through the process of creating a full-color, multi-filament 3D print of Baby Yoda. Yes, I know his name is Grogu, but we’re going with both. From testing supports to custom painting in the slicer, this project took some serious planning, filament finesse, and a good bit of patience.

I’ll show you how I selected and applied the colors, how I dealt with some tricky auto-generated supports (like the ones trying to ruin his eyelids), and why I built my own custom support layout instead. You’ll also see how I tested support distance, filament behavior, and sliced everything with my Mac Studio, which got a serious workout in the process.
