On 17 September 2020, I took a one day tour through Scotland's Western Highlands, focusing on castles and lochs. It was an amazing day and I couldn't have asked for better weather. However, the next time I visit the Highlands, I'm renting a car and taking my time exploring the places I want to see. The tour was excellent, but it was far too much time sitting on the coach for my liking. I booked through Rabbie's - https://www.rabbies.com - and I highly recommend them if you're wanting a guided coach tour. They were very virus conscious - providing hand sanitizer as you entered the coach, requiring masks while onboard, reducing the number of people on the tour, and social distancing with assigned seating.

Our guide/driver, Catti, was amazing. Her knowledge of Scottish history and the Highlands was excellent and she was entertaining.
I think my favourite stop was Loch Lubnaig. You probably think I should have picked one of the stunning castles we visited, but I have a thing about water and I found that particular spot incredibly beautiful.
