Community Action Lanarkshire offers support for rural communities across rural North and South Lanarkshire with community-led plans, training, and to build and grow projects. Our vision is that community decisions will be made for each place, in that place, by the people who live there. Communities will work together towards a common purpose, where the focus is on local people-led action. The project kicked off with two events introducing community-led action planning with the help of David Allen from the Scottish Community Development Centre, June from Getting Better Together Shotts and Becky from community development trust WAT IF? Community Action Lanarkshire is funded by Lanarkshire LEADER until September 2020 and managed by the Rural Development Trust.
