Xbox Console Ban Scam of 2026. Scammers are STILL trying to trick you into believing that an Xbox Console ban is not the end. It IS the end of your appeal on the Xbox Enforcement page gets denied. Microsoft is the only company that can unban your Xbox console as that is their hardware and they have full control and final say on what happens to it. It’s not new for scammers to send bots to comment and say how they had their Xbox Console Bans lifted by some hacker on Instagram. But it’s always been a scam, and this is the fifth time I’m exposing it because the scam bots keep coming back.

This scam works by getting your Xbox Console Banned, then contacting one of these scammers on Instagram. They will claim this process takes around 30 minutes and that the fee is $100. After you pay them, they will either demand more money or claim that the unban service doesn’t work so they’ll offer another service to not seem like scammers. Ultimately, a clickbait scam typically. As Xbox continues to ban more players’ Xbox Consoles, these scam bots will keep coming back. It’s better to be safe than sorry and don’t pay anyone that claims they can unban your Xbox.

In this case, he demanded money first, need an email to the physical Xbox device console which makes no sense, and verified that the serial number I provided him was correct. I made up that serial number and he only asked for it after bringing it up. Because I exposed these unban scammers before. They NEVER bring up serial numbers, just email address. So I was one step ahead of the scammer and I was not going to send him any money as it was 100% a scam.
