Описание к видео Rise of Prateek Kuhad | Being On Obama’s Playlist | Raat Raazi Hai | Karishma Mehta | Ep 21 | HOB

‘Kho gaye hum kaha’’ or ‘Kya Kasoor hai mera’ - These are the hook liners that have been on everyone’s minds since a common man with his guitar broke the internet with his heart touching lyrics, calming voice and soul soothing melody. Prateek Kuhad needs no introduction into the singer-songwriter fraternity and the niche audiences that he has built for himself all through the last decade.

Born and raised in Jaipur, his first real musical moment was when he attended a concert of the band ‘Strings’ back home. He felt in awe of the music and emotions that he experienced that night. Growing up, he was an introverted kid with a guitar in his hand. But did he think about it as a career then? Well, for that you have to watch this mesmerizing episode, where he shared his artistic journey with our host Karishma Mehta.

Getting inducted into NYU, writing and recording his first song from his New York apartment, to finally finding his way and listeners back home, his journey is as wonderful as his music. Opening up more on his personal life, relationships and songwriting process, this conversation is an insight into this man’s creative ride. From ending up on Barack Obama’s playlist to making his Bollywood debut, let’s hear him out.

About Humans of Bombay –

Humans of Bombay is a movement that started 8 years ago. We believe that every person has a story to tell and we want to help them tell these stories. In these years we’ve published stories across genres – stories of love, hope, faith and courage. And through our storytelling, we’ve built an engaged community of over 4.5M!

Our idea is simple – to strike a chord with our community and catalog the beat of humanity, one story at a time.
