During the Geneva UN Biodiversity Meetings, a SBSTTA-24 side event was held on "Fast-tracking the implementation of One Health approaches for biodiversity and health" (Side Event # 4219).

The event was organized and convened by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) and partners of the Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) on #Nature4Health.

It aimed to build momentum on the linkages between #biodiversity and health and the need to accelerate the transition and uptake toward a biodiversity-inclusive #OneHealth approach that can help to ensure the health of the planet and all living beings, in line with the aims of the draft Global action plan for Biodiversity and Health.
