The price of the Tata Punch EV starts from Rs 10 lakh for the base Smart variant powered by a 25 kWh battery pack and goes up to Rs 14.44 lakh for the fully loaded Empowered Plus S Long Range (LR) version that comes with a 35 kWh battery pack with a 7.2 kW AC fast charger.

Dimensions of Punch EV:
The Punch EV measures 3857 mm in length, 1742 mm in width, 1633 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2445 mm. It has an unladen ground clearance of 190 mm.
Battery pack and Transmission options:
The Tata Punch EV gets two battery packs – a Medium Range (MR) and a Long Range (LR) – specifications of which are as follows:
25 kWh pack (MR): It gets an e-motor delivering 82 PS and 114 Nm to the front wheels.
35 kWh pack (LR): It gets an even more powerful e-motor that produces 122 PS and 190 NM.

Both battery packs support 50 kW DC fast charging that takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 56 mins.
Tata Punch EV Safety features:
The Tata Punch EV was crash-tested by the Bharat NCAP in May 2024 and scored a full 5-star safety rating. The safety suite onboard the Punch EV includes six airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, hill hold assist, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. Other safety features include auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, and electronic stability control. The Punch EV does not get Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
