An Underrated Classic: Nostromo by Joseph Conrad - Book Review

Intro to Conrad's historical-political novel set in a fictional Latin American country. I barely scraped the surface---there is much more in this book about loyalty/love, honor, and (Conrad's favorite topic) tormented conscience. I hope someone remakes Nostromo for the screen, because it has all the potential of a historical epic with a deeply touching human side.

5/15/21: A couple of corrections need to be made, which I honestly didn't catch while editing (apologies):
I don't know why I said "one of the best novels of the 19th century"... this was published in 1904. (Freudian slip?)
Heart of Darkness is not about British Imperialism as I stated
