Doing ZSS's Classic Mode run.
"Um, should I be worried, or should I sue someone?" Palutena asked, arms firmly crossed. "What freakish sort of route is this?"
"You mean the grapplers, whips, and claws route for Samus?" Chris asked. Then he realized. "Oh... Um... Wow... That's... Er..."
"Exactly! Do they think kids won't notice the implications? Well, maybe not, but there are older people playing this game who will!" Palutena said.
"Not to side with them, but I'm sure they don't mind even if...they know," Chris said, shuddering at the thought.
"Hey, Samus! Don't stand there looking all angry! Say something against this disturbing theme for your route!" Palutena goaded Samus, who was not in the best of moods with the quiet but ticked off look on her face. "Yes, I understand you're ticked off too, but you should say something t-" Chris tapped her shoulder for attention.
"She's not angry about that. She couldn't care any less about her route or anything else really," Chris whispered. "She's angry about...the letter 'R' right now."
"The letter 'R'? What does that even mea-?" Palutena groaned when she realized the hint's answer immediately. Samus, for her part, decided to call it quits earlier than expected by walking away from the scene. "For my sake, why can't she let that go already!"
Chris narrowed his eyes. "Palutena...Ridley slayed her parents right in front of her," he reminded her.
"Y-yeah, but... But... Oh, blast it all. That's something no one can get over with until one side goes down for good," Palutena said, giving up and tossing her hands. "But this is starting to annoy me. Is Samus just going to keep being so grouchy every time I call her?"
"If you're so worried about that, you could get try getting rid of Ridley," Chris suggested.
"I can't. We're all under contract," Palutena said. "...Unless I made him too big to be a character."
"Saying that out loud in front of the camera isn't smart."
Palutena turned to look at the camera and broke it down using the tip of her staff, making the screen go black. "And this is all being recorded," said Chris in the blackness of the screen.
"...I got it. I thought of something to remedy this next time she comes back," Palutena said.
"...Oh boy."
Key Notes:
Classic Mode Overview (repeated in every other character video)
Unlike before, you will never start your difficulty at the maximum difficulty (9.9). The limit you can start is at 5.0.
However, depending on how well you do in every fight, the difficulty will steadily increase. The factors that contribute an increase are if you...
1) ...finished the fight as quickly as possible.
2) ...didn't stay put or mess around.
3) ...actually managed to avoid damage altogether (meaning a perfect run, which doesn't really guarantee an extra point).
At best, you can get a whole point (or more) added to difficulty. At worst, you get nothing. "Nice Plays" may just be compliments that usually are around 0.8 additions. Do your best to get to the end of the mural.
Using tickets avoids losing difficulty, but in case the difficulty is still increasing, you'll get a 0.1 increase if you win a match.
Oh, and you only get ONE life. Lose it, and you'll either spend money to continue while losing difficulty, use a Ticket without the drawback, or simply give up.
Classic Mode runs for every character aren't the same anymore. Instead of random setups, every character has a set path revolving around a theme. No differences will be made if you retry the same route.
Moreover, the final boss may or may not be unique to every fighter. It may be Master Hand and/or Crazy Hand, but it can be someone else.
ZSS's Final Boss
The hands are at it again. In case they prove to be too much, you should take advantage of stunning one hand...and go nuts on the other while the first one is still stunned. It's better to incapacitate the other hand to keep the pressure going. Or if you down both, well, go nuts on both.
"Why Peach?" Palutena asked.
"She's one well-known victim of grapplers, whips, and claws," Chris pointed out. "...Well, maybe not whips, but plenty of the other two."
"...I swear, I have all the power to sue my own superiors. They make it so easy for me sometimes, but I'm a good woman."
"What a saint."
"Shut it, you."
Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
