The first day of the five-day Indian Classical Dance Workshop at DAV Public School, Sector-4 concluded with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy. The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of Ms. Reena Verma (1994 batch alumna), a renowned dance expert.
🗓️ Scheduled from December 29, 2025 to January 3, 2026, the workshop offers a golden opportunity for students passionate about Kathak and Bharatanatyam. The programme began on an auspicious note with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra 🕉️ and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp 🪔. Students beautifully presented a Shiv Stuti, depicting the divine form of Lord Shiva with grace and devotion.
🎙️ On this occasion, School Principal Mr. S. K. Mishra (ARO, Jharkhand Zone) shared his thoughts, saying:
“Music and dance are powerful mediums of self-expression. Dance beautifully presents divine strength and stories. This workshop will help students understand and express different dance forms and emotions in a unique manner.”
He further added,
“A guru is the true medium of learning any art. With regular practice, patience, and determination, students can master classical dance under the expert guidance of Natyabhushan Awardee Ms. Vaishali Rathore.”
