Stasera voltiamo del tutto pagina, non ci occupiamo nè di arature e nemmeno di semine, ma bensì di una bella discatura, effettuata agli inizi del mese di ottobre. Torniamo ad inizio autunno quindi, quando le giornate erano fresche, c'era tanto sole e si stava benissimo all'aria aperta senza nè sentire caldo e nè sentire freddo.
Andremo a discare un appezzamento di 13 ettari in un terreno precedentemente coltivato a Colza, che è stato subito arato ed ora subirà il passaggio del frangizolle appunto per rompere le zolle e prepararlo ad una successiva semina del frumento in combinata chiaramente.
Il mezzo impiegato sarà un New Holland M160, prodotto a Basildon, in inghilterra dal 1996 al 1999 spinto dal poderoso propulsore New Holland Genesis 7500, 6 cilindri, dalla potenza di 160 cv, equipaggiato con cambio Range Command con 18 marce avanti e 6 indietro. New Holland che appunto andrà a trainare un bellissimo frangizolle Nardi 32 FCI 230/GP, con 32 dischi, dalla larghezza di 3,65 metri, prodotto nel 2008, nello stabilimento umbro di Selci Lama (Perugia). La cavalleria necessaria per trainare questo frangizolle varia da circa 90 cv fino a 410 cv, a seconda di quanto venga aperto il frangizolle, ovviamente con apertura e chiusura idraulica per lessare condotto su strada.
