Dizzy 1 is a characterful and quirky adventure, with puzzle solving and combat elements. This game lead me to complete all the other Dizzys, but I think Dizzy 1 still remains one of the best.

Production Notes:
Spent way too long tinkering this over the past two weeks as its one of my fav c64 games, but listening back to the voice-over again I found it was a bit dull and too 'instructive' in some places, rather than a chatty commentary. Damn. Sorry about that.

I re-voiced a few sections and added boxes of info and screens to cheer it along a bit. I also added a few zoom-ins to show pixel perfect situations, plus the game box covers and the design history, and a few more arrows and things. One of the last changes was to enhance the contrast and sharpness of the ripped video; which originally rendered looking muddy and wasted out. That's why it now looks a bit over contrasty(!). I thought about adding pictures of the Oliver twins and such.. but as this is meant to be 'a one day quick review of my fav C64 games' and since it took two weeks already, I think (I hope) I did enough to make it a bit fun or at least basically watchable.
