In an exclusive chat with ET NOW's Anisha Jain, Siemens India MD & CEO Mr. Sunil Mathur said that he expects $1.5 tn of capex to come into the country over the next couple of years. “See the opportunity for us as a country to start really taking off to the next level in terms of expanding brownfield as well as greenfield” , he said in the latest addition of Mega MNC. He added that he believes that we are looking at a capex cycle of at least another five to seven years in Railways. India’s energy usage is going to double in the next couple of years, he said.
