Jamaat leaders and activists gather for a large rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has called for its first-ever single rally at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on seven-point demands. The rally is officially starting at 2 pm today, Saturday. A large presence of leaders and activists has already been seen at the rally venue.

Leaders and activists have started gathering at the park since Friday (July 18) evening. In the meantime, leaders and activists of the party have started coming to Dhaka from different parts of the country.

Earlier, Jamaat had not held any rally as a party at Suhrawardy Udyan. It had participated in programs with various parties and alliances.

Responsible leaders of the party said that today's rally will be the largest gathering in history. Jamaat's objective is to create a new stir in the political field by holding large-scale rallies. Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will deliver an important message to the new generation from the rally. Elections through the PR system after the trial and reform of the genocide and the establishment of a Bangladesh of people's aspirations based on the spirit of the July 24 uprising; The party's chief will give a guiding message on these two issues. Along with this, the main stage of the rally will be attended by Jamaat's national leaders, Jamaat's Central Executive Council members, working committee members, leaders of various parties and representatives of the families of the July martyrs.
