In this Vlog we visit Zip World Fforest and Zip World Llechwedd. Join the Amuseaholics as we ride Europes highest giant swing, Skyride 2, followed by a real challenge doing the Caverns Zip Line Course!

Skyride 2 is five-seater swing set 80 feet high up in the air. Once the ride begins, we were winched back to a near-vertical position. From there the release string was pulled and sent us hurtling towards the ground, before rising again out towards the valley beyond. Completely gravity driven, it’s an awesome experience surrounded by the beauty of Wales.

The Caverns Zip Line Course is a unique experience that took us a couple of hours to complete and left us both exhilarated and drained. Set in a historic slate mine, the various nooks, crannies, tunnels and chasms are explored though a variety of obstacles and across 13 zip lines. The course is beautiful and challenging, and you need to be a bit brave to see it through but it’s also a very rewarding and inspiring experience.

What’s better still, is that the Caverns is an all-weather activity, making it a good plan for when the worst of the Welsh weather hits. It’s located at Zip World Slate Caverns in Blaenau Ffestioniog in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.
