In the Forza 7 demo there is a race that shows off the new dynamic weather.
As you drive through the 2 lap race the weather gets worse, thunderstorms roll through until it dries out.

But how does the weather work? Is it timed? Is it random?

After a few trials, I have come to the conclusion that it seems to follow the lead car. As it progresses through the race each new weather pattern comes and goes. After the race the weather stops, even though the cars continue to drive around. But there is some fantastic dynamic skies.
