MGM did not particularly specialize in musicals in the early 1930s, but they did produce the relatively popular "Going Hollywood" with Bing Crosby & Marion Davies. Here is a selection of songs from the film, played by Jay Wilbur & his band billed as the "Connecticut Collegians", one of their pseudonyms on the Eclipse label. This particular copy of the record is rather scruffy and well used but still plays reasonably well, which made it worth sharing in my opinion. Maurice Elwin provides vocals for two of the songs featured, "Our big love scene" & "Temptation".
