Battery Replacement BEATS headphones SOLO3 (How to instructions)

In this video we explain in step-by-step instructions, how to replace the battery of your BEATS SOLO 3 wireless headphones.
You may want to consider doing this, when the battery of your Beats Solo3 headphones does not last very long anymore, or when the battery does not charge anymore at all.
As tools all we need is a small prying tool. A screwdriver is not required.
First we remove the outside of the right ear cup. This is the side with the USB charging port and the small button.
Feel on the sides of the plastic for the small ridge. This is where we carefully open up the cover. It is possible to remove the cover without leaving any scratches to the plastic.
Pay special attention when removing the cover. A few very small and short wires connect the cover to the rest of the headphones. Make sure not to accidentally ripping of any of the wires. Otherwise the button on the outside of the ear cup will stop working (if not repaired properly).
Now we already have access to the battery. Look for the small white connector close to the bottom of the ear cup. Unplug the battery by pulling out the plug.
Next we remove the battery. It is glued onto the headphones with a very strong adhesive tape. Use your prying tool to detach the battery. Be careful not to puncture or otherwise damage the battery while doing so.
The new battery has to be installed in the same orientation as the original battery. Do not forget to connect the plug of the new battery. This is a little tricky, but still possible.
Next we close up the ear cup, ensuring that we do not accidentally pinch any of the wires.
