Blenheim Training with Sam Griffiths - Helmet Cam

Not our finest hour at this training session with Australian eventer Sam Griffiths at Swalcliffe Park! Having not been out for 6 weeks Pigeon (and myself) started off far too keen and soon ran low on energy ploughing through all the show jumps. I guess she has lost some fitness! I was also very rusty and made plenty of mistakes with my dodgy riding, hence the two run outs... Oh well, it's always better to make the errors while training. It was very useful to get a taste of what is to come at Blenheim Palace... in two weeks (eek)! This is an arena based eventer's challenge of 8 show jumps, 8 cross country fences and a final show jump to finish. A very tricky format with the fences at 105 cm. :)
