When I got the extraordinary opportunity to go and meet a 102 yr old traditional healer (Sangoma) from Limpopo in South Africa, I jumped at it! I had been working on my series on Medicinal Plants of Southern Africa for a while, so it was an incredible privilege to spend time with someone with that much experience and knowledge.
