Halifax and Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada

Our last port on our Enchanted Princess Canada and New England cruise was Halifax, Nova Scotia. We booked an excursion thru Princess, which included a bus trip to Peggy's Cove and then upon return to Halifax, the HoHo bus.

Peggy's Cove is a very small fishing village in Nova Scotia with a beautiful lighthouse. The full-time population is only about 33 people, but it gets very crowded with tourists. We ended up having about an hour to explore Peggy's Cove, and it was lovely.

We walked the boardwalk in Halifax and up to the Citadel. We grabbed the HoHo bus from there and rode out to the Fairview Cemetery to see the Titanic grave sites.

Halifax has so much history, and our tour guide on our trip out to Peggy's Cove gave us a great overview.

The Scottish influence is lovely, and the man playing bagpipes in his kilt out at the lighthouse was amazing. That plaid blanket may have come home to Arizona with me!!
