Today, June 24 2024, is Mic Fleetwood's 77th Birthday and it would have also been Jeff Beck's 80th Birthday. Though Norwegian Wood was the first hit single to feature the Sitar, it was Jeff Beck who first used a Sitar on Heart Full of Soul with the Yardbirds a few months earlier but went back and played a guitar with a Sitar sound instead for the final recording. A little drumming to celebrate the birthday boy and a thank you to all these musicians for all they have given to us through their music.
