Basketball 101: Free Throws

Описание к видео Basketball 101: Free Throws

When you head to the charity stripe to shoot a pair of free throws, you’ll want to be ready to sink them for your team. By working on your shooting form and alignment, you should be ready to convert when it matters most.

A player has two alignment options when shooting free throws. The first centers your body to the rim, while the second sees your dominant foot aligned to the rim.

You should also want the correct shooting form. Your shooting-side foot should be at the free-throw line without touching it. As you keep your arm under the ball, you should execute your shot in a smooth motion. Remember to always follow through, too.
