The A68 road that weaves itself through Northumberland and Scotland is in my opinion the nicest road to drive on in England.

Some of the Highland Scottish roads are nicer but not by much.

There is one section that has quite a few extreme hillcrests similar to that you find on a roller coaster, and when there are no cars in the way makes for an absolutely amazing drive as the sun sets.

It's also has one of the best viewing areas for the stars, thanks to the lack of light pollution from towns and cities, and as you'll see at the end of the video I took a photo using my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, just by placing it on top of my car (to keep the phone steady) for 8 seconds in Pro mode.
