My family and I enjoyed a week's stay in a picturesque mountain village soaking up all nature has to offer, but soon after our arrival, a lightening strike set the closest mountain ablaze. Fortunately, our resort was a safe enough distance away from the flames that we did not receive evacuation orders. Despite the obvious concerns, we were able to carry on with our vacation and enjoy ourselves. We kept a close eye on the mountain as well as monitoring the updates from the BC Wildfire Service. When all was said and done, the fire fighters did an amazing job of containing the Horsethief Creek wildfire, but my SQ5 did not escape before being blanketed with a layer of ash, soot and other fallout from the copious amounts of smoke produced by the fire.

In this video, I discover some mineral deposit marks that embedded themselves into the ceramic coating on my car, but I was able to rectify the situation using a highly effective "Water Spot Remover" product from my friends at DIY Detail. This video features some narration because it was a departure from my normal wash process that I feature often here on my channel.
