Abel Castro Ñaño Ecuadorian Kitchen Cuisine

Meet Abel Castro, owner of Nano Ecuadorian Kitchen (est. 2013), the only Ecuadorian restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. We sat down with him to discuss his upbringing in Guayaquil, immigration to the United States, and his journey to opening up Nano with the goal of bringing Ecuadorian gastronomy closer to Manhattan’s financial and touristic center.
