Featured by a tradition of resistance and survival since time immemorial, the current Cuban military doctrine has been heir to a long local tradition of struggle, preservation and improvement of its weapons, as well as its deterrent and defensive concepts of popular nature up to the present day.

The adaptation, study and updating of the traditional defensive doctrine of the Republic of Cuba has been essential for its existence and survival as a nation at national and global level.

The photographic report contains some archive photos on the referred military doctrine of the Cuban nation for times of peace and in times of great historical turbulence and at an international level.
