Bass Knowbs are weird, my thoughts. Skar SK10TBV 10" Subwoofer Bass Tube "demo"

If you want to hear anything specific just lmk

For a budget setup.. not tooo bad man. I'm not going to go over the math, but from the ground up ( minus the headunit) somewhere around $700 give or take. Was shooting for $500 but the rear speakers I already had would not work and I decided to go with a more expensive amp kit and had to get a couple of different length rca's plus some extra foam... and some more terminal ends... and this and that and next thing ya know...

I do want to replace the sub and go 12" to hit them low lows but within a reasonable budget and within the amps ability... I cant find anything really suiting my fancy sooo... the 12" version of this skar bass tube? but that seems kinda dumb... and space is a concern... 40 more bucks for 2"s of woofer when I already the 10" 0_o ... I could sell it, but maybe I'll just live with it..

Downfiring kenwood 12" seems nice, but the lack of spec documentation and website weirdness concerns me... and kickers seems to have alot of failures in the thin/shallow sub catagory... alphasonik/audiopipe has some garbage looking probably garbage.. Memphis audio can't even label their subs on their website correctly...idk man.. my issue is that I don't want the subwoofer exposed.. Like if i throw concrete board in the back, I dont want to have to worry about the subwoofer getting damaged.

If i just go with a standard box... then my options are pretty much limitless... I already have a dual 10" sealed box, but spaaace and this amp aint doing 2 subs... low end kicker df subs are 150rms at 4ohm... wire 2 together for 2ohm... sigh small car kinda sucks...

Could nip the subsonic filter down another digit or 2... but even then the sound quality of this tube aint all that... and the 12 would just be more of the same...

Anyway....
