Easy Tomato Trellis Set up

This is how I trellis my tomatoes. It's an easy set-up once you get your materials. I use the center support because of the length of my bed. If your bed is under 6' long, you probably won't need a center support piece.You can get everything at a Home Depot, Lowes, or a local True Value or Ace Hardware store. Here's the list:


1/2" electrical conduit pipe (comes in 10' lengths. Cut the supports to 5'. The cross pieces length will depend on the length of your bed)



90 degree conduit connectors



PVC "T" to fit the conduit



1" x 3" x 3" board with a 1/2" hole for the rebar



3/8" x 2' rebar (2 or 3 depending on the length of your bed)



Nylon cord



Bent wire hooks
