If you live in the United States or Europe, you may think that plovers are merely a harmless wading bird. You may even have positive thoughts associated with them, such as the beginning of the warm seasons. If you are an Australian, you’ll beg to differ.
Plovers have had a reputation for being an aggressive swooping bird that will stop at nothing to defend their territory. Some would say that they are even worse than magpies. But do they really deserve the reputation that they have? In this video, we’ll discover the truth about plovers.
