पांच दिन से मराठा आरक्षण को लेकर मुंबई में चल रही जंग खत्म हो गई. बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट के सख्त रुख़ और उसके बाद महाराष्ट्र सरकार के फौरी एक्शन ने आंदोलन को शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से ख़त्म करने में बड़ी भूमिका निभाई. महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने कहा कि वो हैदराबाद गजट के आधार पर मराठाओं के लिए कुनबी प्रमाणपत्र जारी रखेगी. इसके अलावा भी सरकार ने आंदोलनकारियों की कई मांग मानी, लेकिन इस आंदोलन की वजह से मुंबई के लोगों को पांच दिन में जिन मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा, उसे शायद वो कभी नहीं भूल पाएंगे.


The five-day long battle over Maratha reservation in Mumbai has come to an end. The strict stand of the Bombay High Court and the immediate action of the Maharashtra government played a major role in ending the agitation peacefully. The Maharashtra government said that it will continue to issue Kunbi certificates to Marathas on the basis of the Hyderabad Gazette. Apart from this, the government accepted many demands of the agitators, but the people of Mumbai will probably never forget the difficulties they had to face in five days due to this agitation.
