Fender Musicmaster bass vs Woodctaft electric Ampmaster bass || Sound Lab of Amp Shop Bass Exchange

We repaired, Set up and serviced a lot of Fender Musicmaster basses in the past and have a couple of Vintage 70’s Musicmaster basses and Squier Vista Series bass in stock.
Lets compare Fender Musicmaster bass with Woodcraft Ampmaster bass and discover
why we need to modify Fender Musicmaster bass or get a current Custom AmpMaster Bass replacement from Woodcraft electric guitars.

The 1st downside was that Fender originally installed on the bass a six-pole Stratocaster Guitar pickup, which won’t give the correct bass tone and string-to-string balance as a four-pole bass pickup. But NOW You DO NOT need to modify the bodies of your Musicmaster basses to accommodate Precision-style double pickups or enhanced electronics. Albridge parts Custom Split coil Hum Free pickups make this bass sound
absolutely amazing, give you tight bottom, and no more 60 cycle hum, quiet like P bass split coil pickups.

The 2nd downside - Fender Musicmaster has always had an Intonation issue (no matter how I set it up, the E string always goes sharp on the 12th fret...etc...) due to the design of the bridge with a single saddle for every 2 strings.
Albridge parts company makes the bridge with 4 PURE Bell Bronze saddles, which allow perfect Intonation, Eliminate misalignment and rattling on the bridge,
Sustain fuller tones on your strings, Achieve brighter tones on upper strings,
Even up string tension for more even playing, Play more comfortably,
Hit a wider range of low and high pitches, Give your bass new sexy look
...When installed this bridge, I notice increased the punch of the bass,
also it gives me a way more sustain, but the punch is steel there. And by playing
with attack, the bass is giving you a fretless Blooming sound…..”
No Modification NEEDED, direct drop-in, no extra holes drilling, just unscrew the old one and put Albridge in the same place with screws provided.

3rd downside - with a small body Fender Musicmaster bass still has Weight around 8.2lbs,
vs Woodcraft AmpMaster bass around 5.7- 6 Lbs.

AmpMaster has well balanced body and neck and light custom made tuners
by Gotoh/Albridge parts.
Neck and body has 6 Bolt Joint with Duralumin neck plate, makes Body resonance much better
.
Custom wiring CTS pots with NOS Military Oil/Paper filter capacitors or disk ceramic is your choice
Ampmaster neck: Nut size 38.1mm, at 20th fret 60mm
Width under 1st fret 20mm, 12th fret 22.5mm
Fretboard Radius 12”
Fret’s width 2.8mm (0.11”)
Bass Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (1035 mm.), 12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm.) wide at lower bout,
and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at the side of the rim. Scale length is 30 in. (762 mm.).

**Fender Musicmaster basses production time from 1971 - 1981 and
