Thousands rallied in support of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Sao Paulo's Avenida Paulista on Sunday, as the embattled former leader denied involvement in an alleged coup attempt last January for which he remains under investigation.

Large crowds of supporters took to the streets wearing green and yellow - Brazil's national colors, which are also those of the country's national soccer team jersey, and have over the past few years been closely identified with Bolsonaro's right-wing political followers.
