Zar Abdelsalam and Abdelqader - زار عبد السلام أسمر وعبد القادر | Abou al-Gheit فرقة ابو الغيط

Taradod Music presents a #documentation from a hardhat al-zar in Abou al-Gheit village, at Sheikh Ibrahim Abouzid's house. This #Zar is dedicated to the #muslim #saints #Abdelsalam al-Asmar and #Abdelqader. In fact, the #musicians of Abou al-Gheit perform zar with #sufi #songs of their own #heritage. They use #music as a #spiritual #healing and as a way to call for the #madad, the divine help.
The #band leader of Abou al-Gheit is Muhammed Abouzid, a #drum master performing also in sufi #zikr of #cairo and #Delta.
